Day 12: Was a Saturday
It is Saturday and the “the” investigation has been going for just over a week. A few new items are still coming to light regarding Project Darwin and what it is and what it might be, even though it’s Saturday and everyone is at a Barbeque.
A communication similar to other communications has been intercepted in a similar way to previous interceptions. The following is the exact message cleverly recreated using highly advanced systems codenamed: My “prt sc” button and photoshop.
It is clear that we have no idea what this means, however we know it means that Project Darwin is going to allow affiliates to have multiple accounts all accessible from the same interface, which will probably be Ajax. We know it’s probably Ajax because it says so, somewhere, probably tomorrow.
Taking the Mike:
An Agent who was previously unknown to us but has previously become known to us named “Mix The Marketing“, has posted The Truth About Project Darwin.
“Marketing The Mix“, cites the Darwin A4u forum thread that we weren’t going to bother citing, because it’s a given, but he does make an interesting point. That interesting point is that “Affiliate Window themselves have generally remained tight lipped“.
This was not previously obvious to “the”, as *we have a mole within Affiliate Window* feeding us information before anyone else gets it, just to make people jealous. The wealth of information we have is so wealthy, we were oblivious to the fact that no-one else knows anything, because it’s a secret.
Still, fair play to “Mix Mike Marketing The” for noticing that no-one other than “the” knows what Project Darwin is all about. It should also be noted that “Marketing The Mike Mix” has well and truly clocked our six:
somebody else steps in and puts a whole different angle on the whole thing by creating, what I can only describe as a very strange but funny ’spoof’ blog based around the whole idea of the ‘affiliate window darwin project’.
Further to this, “Micky Markety Mix” describes us as “a very entertaining read“.
Cheers Mike Scott from The Marketing Mix on themarketingmix.org.uk, nice to know it’s being taken in the manner intended
How to not avoid us:
Word has come from the very top of “the” that we require as many Allies as possible. Only then will “the” finally get all the information we need to do things with and make it worth while putting all this effort in.
The “the” boffins from the “the” SEO division have made mention that “the” is on a new domain, with no trustrank, which they believe could put a few potential Allies off Allie-ing themselves publically on their own blogs and ting.
Some boffins had a meeting about this:
Boffin 1: “Oh, they’ll happily do it with Twitter and such, but they don’t want to risk linking to a potentially bad neighbourhood from their own blogs.”
Boffin 2: “That’s because “the” probably haven’t even been indexed yet.”
Boffin 3: “It is actually in the Google index now so it can’t be that, It’s probably something to do with the seemingly random outbound link profile “the” is building up.”
Boffin 4: “That, or everyone’s a big scaredy cat and doesn’t want to have the piss taken out of them in a really bizarre and inobvious manner, even though it’s all in fun, never mean and they’ll get a backlink out of it.”
Boffin 5: “Some people are very happy to be mentioned and we even have a couple of “please put us on your blog” emails to: the (at) darwinaw (dot) com, but they might be spam.”
Boffin 6: “Nobody is prepared to do anything for anyone else unless there’s a commission in it for them, which is, albeit the fundamental basis of affiliate marketing, it is also what is fundamentally wrong with it.”
Boffin 7: “Shall we pay people to Allie with us?”
Boffin 8: “No, we should continue to bait them as much as possible in the hope they will eventually succumb and become our Allies, like what that Mike from The Marketing Mix did, as mentioned in the Journal Entry that this meeting is in.”
Boffin 9: “There’s alot of Boffins in the SEO division, isn’t there?”
Boffin 10: “Yes.“
In the true essence of meetings between Boffins, there were biscuits, so very little else was discussed. Boffin 3 denied it, so was deemed to have supplied it, even though Boffin 9 had been the first to smell it.
It is unclear who actually dealt it.
“the” can not be avoided here, here and here. But not here, because they won’t let me join.

No we don’t
